## Description and construction

Martingale chain used for making martingale (half-choker) dog collars. Consists of short welded links, one O-ring and two D-rings. The upper ring is used for snapping in the leash. The material of the collar itself is attached to the two side rings. It could be leather, rope, webbing etc. You can select from 2 different lengths of chain. The length shown in the table specifies length of the chain when it is fully stretched.

Notice

Connecting chain with black finish is intended for the production of show collars. It is not intended for the production of collars for everyday wear as it causes excessive wear of the finish.


## Limits and maintenance

* Handles typical outdoor conditions without issue — rain, mud, moisture, sweat. No need to dry or treat specially after every water contact.
* Reliably protects the underlying material during typical outdoor use — rain, dew, occasional wetting. May not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
