## Description and construction

Strap keeper loop made of smooth steel wire. Edges as well as the joint are nicely rounded. You will use these loops most often as attachment or pull-through points. Used together with buckle #1407 W/20 AC for hunting collars or gun or rifle slings. Without a welded joint.


## Limits and maintenance

* Tolerates contact with water — rain, wet grass, damp hands. With regular soaking the finish ages faster and loses appearance. Better to dry after wetting.
* The finish does not increase corrosion resistance. Either the underlying material does not need it, or the finish is purely aesthetic.
* Thin decorative coating that gradually wears through with regular wear and friction. Wear shows fairly quickly at points where buckle or snap contacts the strap, ring or fur.
* Surface is designed to change over time. Ageing deepens the character of the finish — the product looks different after a year than when new, and that is intentional, not a defect. Each piece ages slightly differently.
