## Description and construction

Leather strap made from chrome-tanned cowhide with a genuine hair-on cow pattern in leopard is a distinctive material suitable for the production of collars, leads, and other pet or leather goods. The material consists of a top layer with hair and a bottom layer of split leather. Thanks to its bold pattern and natural character, it gives finished products a unique and eye-catching look.

With this type of hair-on leather, the length is made up of joined sections of material, and these joins are a natural part of the product. The leather is not cut in a continuous spiral, but from individual straight sections that are subsequently joined together. The individual segments do not have a uniform length, and the pattern may not align perfectly at the joins.

The strap is available in a width of 20 mm and is supplied in packs of 10 meters. The surface is already finished, so no additional dyeing is required.

How to care for the strap? To maintain its appearance and properties, we recommend protecting the material from moisture, storing it in a dry place, and keeping it away from direct sunlight. For regular cleaning, use a soft brush or a dry, soft cloth.

## Limits and maintenance

* Contact with water can cause corrosion, swelling, mould or other damage. Keep the material dry and dry it promptly if it becomes wet.
* Regular treatment, oiling or impregnation helps preserve the material. Follow the care instructions for the complete product, because the required method and interval can vary.
* Naturally changes colour tone and surface texture. This is not a defect; it is a property of the material. The patina develops gradually and may differ from one piece to another.
