## Description and construction

Quality leather punch made of hardened steel has a long service life and well thought out design. Available in 3 sizes with diameters of 3–4.5 mm. Extra sharp, with a long handle for secure and comfortable grip. Thanks to the side opening, the punch is automatically cleaned out and does not clog. The best punch to use for belts and straps or any project that uses a buckle.

To preserve keen edge on the punches, we recommend using #2015-00 wax and #3464-00 protection plate.

Important: This product is NOT SUITABLE for punching waterproof webbings or BioThane®. For these materials, we recommend using dedicated punching dies:

    Punches Ø 3–4 mm: for small holes for rivets and buckle tongues, minimizing damage to the webbing's load-bearing core.
    Punches Ø 5.2–6 mm: a 5.2 mm hole is intended for E10x5.2 eyelets, while a 6 mm hole is designed for E12x6.0 eyelets.


## Limits and maintenance

* Contact with water can cause corrosion, swelling, mould or other damage. Keep the material dry and dry it promptly if it becomes wet.
* The bare material has no useful corrosion resistance. Choose a protective finish when the product may come into contact with moisture or sweat.
* Regular treatment, oiling or impregnation helps preserve the material. Follow the care instructions for the complete product, because the required method and interval can vary.
* Without protection, both function and appearance deteriorate over time. Typical signs include colour loss, embrittlement or cracking, a rougher surface, rust or white corrosion products.
