## Description and construction

Very sharp scalpel with 5 replaceable blades and non-slip handle for a secure and comfortable grip. Invaluable for accurate cutting or decorating skins and leather. Cutting of outlines transferred from the tracing paper or stencil will go smooth like a dream.

We recommend to cut on a plastic #3464-00 or rubber #3461-01 pad. A replacement set of 5 blades can be found under code #3036-01.


## Limits and maintenance

* Water causes corrosion, swelling, mould or other damage. Must be dried immediately after wetting, and even then permanent deterioration is a risk.
* Without surface treatment it will start to rust as soon as it comes into contact with moisture. Rust gradually compromises both function and appearance — surface protection is a necessity.
* To keep the material in good condition and looking good, it needs regular attention — treating, oiling or impregnating. Neglect significantly shortens its lifespan.
* Without a protective surface finish it deteriorates functionally and visually over time. Manifests as colour loss, surface roughening or the formation of rust.
