## Description and construction

A little thing that keeps your ideas together. The stainless steel open jump ring 5.5 mm is what keychain makers, crafters, and haberdashers rely on when they want to forget about rust and flaking surfaces.

Resists moisture and everyday use – no rust or green stains on your fabrics.
Easy to assemble, no tools needed: The open ring slips on in seconds, and you can close the gap with a pair of pliers.
Low visual profile – won’t overshadow minimalist charms or delicate decorations. Perfect when you want a strong but subtle connection.

For keychains, tags, joining lockets, zipper pulls, small chains, or case decorations – this is where it feels right at home.

Note: The small diameter may eventually cut through soft leather loops. For thin leather, go for a wider ring or use a grommet instead.

## Limits and maintenance

* Suitable for repeated wetting and immersion in fresh water. Any care requirements for the complete product still depend on its other materials and components.
* Suitable for frequent contact with water, moisture and sweat without an additional protective coating. For salt water or chemicals, check whether the material has a marine rating.
* No special care is required. Rinse with water or wipe with a cloth when cleaning is needed.
* Changes to colour, gloss and surface texture develop slowly during normal use. The exact result still depends on exposure, care and the complete product.
