## Description and construction

A practical adapter for the #3990-00 press, designed to securely hold the #211700STP-12 and #211700STP-14 punching dies. We developed it specifically for these punches, which are perfectly suited for working with waterproof webbing—ideal for preparing holes for eyelets with diameters of 5.2 mm and 6 mm.

With this attachment, you can take your hand press to the next level. Punching holes for grommets becomes highly accurate, flawless, and above all, much faster.

## Limits and maintenance

* Water causes corrosion, swelling, mould or other damage. Must be dried immediately after wetting, and even then permanent deterioration is a risk.
* Without surface treatment it will start to rust as soon as it comes into contact with moisture. Rust gradually compromises both function and appearance — surface protection is a necessity.
* To keep the material in good condition and looking good, it needs regular attention — treating, oiling or impregnating. Neglect significantly shortens its lifespan.
* Without a protective surface finish it deteriorates functionally and visually over time. Manifests as colour loss, surface roughening or the formation of rust.
