## Description and construction

Ever seen a halter that actually keeps its shape, doesn’t twist, and doesn’t have a tangled mess of webbing on the side? That’s where the 3-sided halter square comes in. It lets you join cheekpieces, noseband, and chin strap at a single point cleanly and clearly, no frantic lacing and no compromises on your horse’s comfort.

Everything stays put – the pull is distributed in three directions, the halter keeps its geometry, no rippling or crossing over.
Easier to make and repair – patterns are simpler, sewing is faster, and when it comes to repairs, you won’t have to replace half the tack.
Universal for webbing and leather – the square handles both options and keeps the connection exactly where it should be on both sides of the head.
Durable brass sand casting  – handles repeated stress and daily use, whether you’re making halters for the stable, training, or sport.

TIP: Brass naturally oxidizes and darkens over time – it’s not a defect, just the metal reacting with air. You can restore its shine with #SITOL300G paste. To prevent darkening, apply the clear lacquer #637005/GLOSSY.


## Limits and maintenance

* The finish does not increase corrosion resistance. Either the underlying material does not need it, or the finish is purely aesthetic.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
