## Description and construction

A die-cast zinc alloy snap hook whose eye swivels a full 360°, so the cord, chain or strap you attach hangs straight instead of twisting. You'll most often use it on handbags, clutches, smaller bags, backpacks and keychains, and at 22 g it won't weigh them down. Check the name for the eye shape: Q after the eye width means a square eye for flat straps, no Q means a round eye for cord, chain or round leather. For a leash that takes a dog's pull, choose a leash snap hook.

Please note: these snaps come from a batch with a lower-grade finish. On some of them the chrome plating is a darker shade than usual.

## Limits and maintenance

* Suitable for typical outdoor exposure to rain, mud, moisture and sweat. Follow any care requirements of the base material and the complete product.
* Protects the underlying material during typical outdoor exposure to rain, dew and occasional wetting. It may not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Designed for daily use with frequent contact against straps, snaps or other hard surfaces. Visible wear develops more slowly than in the lower resistance classes.
* Retains its colour, gloss and surface structure with normal use. Any visible change develops more slowly than with finishes in the other ageing classes.
