## Description and construction

A die-cast zinc alloy snap hook with a square eye that swivels a full 360°. The straight bar lets a flat leather strap or webbing lie flat across its full width, and the swivel keeps the strap from twisting as you carry the bag. Size it by the strap: the number after the slash in the name is the inside width of the eye, so a 20 mm strap needs a 20 mm eye. You'll most often use it on handbags, bags, cases and keychains; it weighs 12 g.

## Limits and maintenance

* Suitable for typical outdoor exposure to rain, mud, moisture and sweat. Follow any care requirements of the base material and the complete product.
* Protects the underlying material during typical outdoor exposure to rain, dew and occasional wetting. It may not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Designed for daily use with frequent contact against straps, snaps or other hard surfaces. Visible wear develops more slowly than in the lower resistance classes.
* Retains its colour, gloss and surface structure with normal use. Any visible change develops more slowly than with finishes in the other ageing classes.
