## Description and construction

One strip of nickel-plated steel bent into a hook, with no moving parts. Press a key ring or cord against the tip, it gives way, then springs back on its own. Use it on keychains, lanyards, name tags and light pouches, or to hang banners and tarps by their grommets. Four sizes, 20 to 50 mm long; the number after the slash in the name is the inside width. This one weighs 1 g.

## Limits and maintenance

* Tolerates occasional contact with rain, wet grass or damp hands. Regular soaking accelerates visible wear, so dry the surface after it becomes wet.
* Provides a temporary barrier against moisture. Works well in dry environments, but protection weakens over time with regular contact with water or sweat.
* Suitable for normal everyday use. Traces of wear may gradually appear at exposed points with regular friction or contact with other metal parts.
* Gradually loses some of its original gloss and may change tone slightly. This is a visual change and does not by itself affect the function of the part.
