## Description and construction

A snap hook bent from sheet steel, with a square eye that doesn't swivel: the strap keeps the angle you set. The flat spring gate snaps shut on its own. It costs less than a zinc swivel snap of the same size, so use it wherever the strap has no reason to turn. All three sizes are 50 mm long, with 20, 30 or 40 mm eyes; this one weighs 9 g.

## Limits and maintenance

* Suitable for typical outdoor exposure to rain, mud, moisture and sweat. Follow any care requirements of the base material and the complete product.
* Protects the underlying material during typical outdoor exposure to rain, dew and occasional wetting. It may not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Designed for daily use with frequent contact against straps, snaps or other hard surfaces. Visible wear develops more slowly than in the lower resistance classes.
* Retains its colour, gloss and surface structure with normal use. Any visible change develops more slowly than with finishes in the other ageing classes.
