## Description and construction

The spring-loaded girth buckle is designed for the production of girths for horse saddles. It is ideal for applications where easier fastening, smooth strap tightening, and a less bulky connection at the fastening point are important.

    Spring mechanism: The spring holds the pin in a ready-to-engage position, making it easier to align and insert into the hole in the strap during tightening.
    Grooved roller: The central groove creates space for the pin, helps maintain its position during fastening, and contributes to a flatter buckle profile.
    Stainless steel construction: Both the buckle and the spring are made from stainless steel.


## Limits and maintenance

* The finish does not increase corrosion resistance. Either the underlying material does not need it, or the finish is purely aesthetic.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
