## Description and construction

Metal eyelet with inside diameter ø 7 mm, for reinforcing holes in leather or fabrics. The eyelets can be set using the #3990-00 press with #3992-E6x5.0 die. For setting by hand, we offer the #8101-E6x5.0 eyelet setter. The size or the piston or head setter must be selected according to the size of the eyelet. You can also find a suitable tool among the products recommended below. The correct tool for your eyelet size will be displayed. Washers for the eyelets "W" must be purchased separately. The quoted price is for the entire pack.

TIP: For hard and stiff, unyielding materials, the eyelet can be used without a washer. For other applications we recommend using a washer that would prevent the eyelet from getting torn out. The video below the picture will show you how to choose the correct size and how to attach the eyelet properly.


## Limits and maintenance

* Handles typical outdoor conditions without issue — rain, mud, moisture, sweat. No need to dry or treat specially after every water contact.
* Reliably protects the underlying material during typical outdoor use — rain, dew, occasional wetting. May not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Handles normal everyday wear. At exposed points — where regular friction or contact with other metals occurs — traces of wear may appear over time.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
