## Description and construction

Eco-Flo Gum Tragacanth (tragacanth) is a traditional preparation based on natural gum (resin), designed for smoothing and polishing both the edges and the flesh side of leather. Unlike modern edge paints, it does not create an artificial surface layer but penetrates deep into the leather fibers, binding and perfectly smoothing them. The result is a professional-looking, natural, high-gloss edge that enhances the structure of the leather material.

 Key Features 
 
Natural Composition: A water-based formula with natural resin and a typical, characteristic scent. 
High Gloss: With proper burnishing technique, it can achieve a “glass-like” edge finish. 
Ideal Base Layer: Perfect for sealing the edge before applying covering edge paints (e.g., Edge Kote). 
Best Use: Delivers optimal results on natural or dyed vegetable-tanned leather.
 
 

Application 

Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use. For best results, first trim the leather edge with an edge beveler to achieve a nicely rounded profile after burnishing. Apply a thin layer of tragacanth using a wool dauber, cloth, or sponge. After application, allow the product to become slightly tacky, then burnish the edge vigorously with a wooden or bone slicker.

 Not suitable for suede or nubuck leather. Tragacanth may partially seal the leather pores, so apply it only after dyeing and finishing, or work with high precision during application.
