## Description and construction

Gouge, skive and channel up to 6 mm wide with this skiver for left- and right-handers. Has a stainless-steel ferrule and large comfortable handle for a good grip. Comes sharpened and ready to work.

Blade width 6 mm (15/64"): Suitable for 5.6 mm–6.4 mm thick leather.

## Limits and maintenance

* Wet it, submerge it, leave it in water — fresh water will not harm it. No drying or treatment needed; water does not affect function or appearance.
* Withstands permanent contact with water, moisture and sweat without change. Needs no protective coating and looks and functions the same after months of outdoor use.
* No special care needed. Just rinse with water or wipe with a cloth — that is all.
* Appearance practically does not change over time. Colour, gloss and surface texture remain the same even after months of regular use.
