## Description and construction

High-quality metal D-ring, with welded joint that resists deformation and guarantees maximum strength. Excellent for haberdashery, saddlery, and dog accessory production. Most commonly used as a suspension, connection, or tie-down component. Ideal for making collars for large or small animals, for purses, bags, belts and leather bracelets. Choose from sizes 10–50 mm.

## Limits and maintenance

* Tolerates contact with water — rain, wet grass, damp hands. With regular soaking the finish ages faster and loses appearance. Better to dry after wetting.
* Provides a temporary barrier against moisture. Works well in dry environments, but protection weakens over time with regular contact with water or sweat.
* Thin decorative coating that gradually wears through with regular wear and friction. Wear shows fairly quickly at points where buckle or snap contacts the strap, ring or fur.
* At points of regular friction — typically the buckle edge, snap contact point or strap — the finish gradually wears through and the base material shows beneath.
