## Description and construction

Want a rope end that doesn’t fray or look like a last-minute fix with tape? This brass cord end cap hides the cut or melted end of your rope inside metal, keeps it in shape, and gives you a neat finish for leashes, collars, bags, handles, or decorative hangings.

  Corrosion resistance: rain, mud, humidity—brass shrugs it off. Unlike plastic, it won’t crack in the cold or go soft in the heat.
  Clean design: no fraying, no fuzzy fibers sticking out. The end cap covers it all up and gives your whole project a tidy, unified look.
  Matches your hardware: with different finishes and color options, you can easily pair the end cap with your snap hook, ring, or buckle.

How to use: Cut the rope straight, and if you like, lightly melt the end. Degrease both the inside of the end cap and the rope. Glue with a hot glue gun or trusty Loctite #8142575. Let it cure no ""let’s see if I can pull it off right away"" impatience.


## Limits and maintenance

* Finish withstands even permanent contact with water including submersion. Water does not damage it, change its colour or structure. Reliable even in permanently wet environments.
* Strong protection even in humid and demanding environments. The material under the finish stays protected even with frequent water contact and adverse weather.
* Extremely hard surface that resists intensive mechanical stress. Scratches and abrasion appear minimally even after extended active use.
