## Description and construction

The most popular collar buckle called as double bar buckle, you needn´t to use extra strap holder. Edges are nice finished. Use stainless steel D-ring #4520SS/13 together and your customers will love the collar for ages. Hand polished stainless steel.

Please note: the #147SS/17 size has a narrower space between the center bars (1.5 mm) and is not suitable for use with our water resistant webbings. We recommend using a new version of buckle #147LSS/16 with those.

Center bar spacing parameter (material clearance): This value indicates the space between the center bar and the prong. Although our measurements already include a small technical allowance for movement, we recommend not pushing it too tight. To keep the buckle working smoothly and comfortably, give the prong a little extra room.
Our tip: If your strap is 4 mm thick at the bend, choose a version with 4.3 mm spacing to be on the safe side.


## Limits and maintenance

* The finish does not increase corrosion resistance. Either the underlying material does not need it, or the finish is purely aesthetic.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
