## Description and construction

Perfectly smooth belt buckle, a favorite for making leather belts and straps. Lovely finish and a strong prong will keep the material where it belongs. Combined with a quality leather belt, this buckle will guarantee a long lasting product. We recommend combining it with a Chicago screw #B SPH8-6.


## Limits and maintenance

* Tolerates contact with water — rain, wet grass, damp hands. With regular soaking the finish ages faster and loses appearance. Better to dry after wetting.
* Provides a temporary barrier against moisture. Works well in dry environments, but protection weakens over time with regular contact with water or sweat.
* Thin decorative coating that gradually wears through with regular wear and friction. Wear shows fairly quickly at points where buckle or snap contacts the strap, ring or fur.
* At points of regular friction — typically the buckle edge, snap contact point or strap — the finish gradually wears through and the base material shows beneath.
