## Description and construction

Elegant and perfectly crafted brass clasp, a favorite for use on premium quality purses, smaller backpacks or bags. Beautiful design combined with a quality leather product will guarantee a long service life as well as a stamp of luxury. The package includes 3 pcs of screws and 2 pcs of small screws for fastening.

Attachment procedure: using a screw and brass backing plate with openings, the rear part of the clasp is attached to the body of the purse. Attach the front part of the clasp to the top flap using two grub screws, and you are done (see video).

TIP: Brass naturally oxidizes and darkens over time – it’s not a defect, just the metal reacting with air. You can restore its shine with #SITOL300G paste. To prevent darkening, apply the clear lacquer #637005/GLOSSY.


## Limits and maintenance

* The finish does not increase corrosion resistance. Either the underlying material does not need it, or the finish is purely aesthetic.
* Resists daily use even with active dogs. The surface holds its original appearance for a long time, even when in contact with straps, snaps or other hard surfaces.
* Over time loses its original gloss and the tone changes slightly. This does not affect function, but the surface eventually does not look as fresh as at the start.
