## Description and construction

Aluminium snap hook 66 mm long with a breaking load of 490 kg. The body is made of 6061 aluminium alloy, so the snap hook weighs only 14 g. Its anodised surface protects it from corrosion and wear.

It makes strong dog leashes and will also find its place when camping, hiking or attaching tools to work belts. Although the snap hook has a high breaking load, it is not suitable for securing people. Lock type: Screw Lock.

## Limits and maintenance

* Suitable for typical outdoor exposure to rain, mud, moisture and sweat. Follow any care requirements of the base material and the complete product.
* Protects the underlying material during typical outdoor exposure to rain, dew and occasional wetting. It may not be sufficient for permanently wet environments.
* Suitable for normal everyday use. Traces of wear may gradually appear at exposed points with regular friction or contact with other metal parts.
* At points of regular friction (typically the buckle edge, snap contact point or strap) the finish gradually wears through and the base material shows beneath.
